July 2021 Newsletter
The summer is flying by and the County Fair is just around the corner! If you missed our “Positive Partnerships” article about the Fair Board in last week’s Examiner, you can still read it on our website www.PRChamberofComm.com. The goal of the Positive Partnerships campaign is to raise awareness, acknowledge contributions, and foster partnerships and participation in the many volunteer organizations at work in our community. Contact us at powderriverchamber@gmail.com if your group is interested in being the next spotlight!
Our next quarterly General Membership Meeting is coming up on Wednesday, August 4th. Please join us at 6pm at the office of Gardner & Billing CPAs. Last month, for our July Positive Partnership Social Gathering we hosted an appreciation BBQ for the Powder River First Responders at Cottonwood Park. It was a wonderful opportunity to thank our EMS and healthcare volunteers for their hours of dedication. Special acknowledgment goes out to Dick Jesse and the Jesse Family for the many years of emergency services they have provided to our community!
Mark your calendars for our August 31st educational seminar and check out the attached poster. In conjunction with the Miles City SBDC (Small Business Development Center) we’re hosting a FREE business learning opportunity from 8am-12pm at the Community Center. Miranda will be discussing the GoDaddy website builder, which offers small business owners the opportunity to build and manage their own website in a user-friendly format. Girl Geek is a GoDaddy Pro Plus partner and Miranda has worked with these products for over 10 years.
